Now in its fourth year, the Lynn Shelton “Of a Certain Age” Grant awards $25,000 to a US-based woman, non-binary, or transgender filmmaker, age 39 or older, who has yet to direct a narrative feature. June 21, 2023 — Northwest Film Forum (NWFF)’s Collective Power Fund is thrilled to announce the fourteen (14) grant recipients for the Collective Power Fund, now in its fourth installment of funding and support to individual, visual-based artists in King County. Northwest Film Forum (NWFF)’s 6th Cadence Video Poetry Festival (April 27 – May 7, 2023) has announced five award-winners from among the 50+ artist teams that were selected this year. The annual festival presents screenings, workshops, and discussions on video poetry, and remains the only festival dedicated to the genre in the Pacific Northwest. Edamura joins the Forum’s collaborative leadership team of Managing Director Christopher Day and Artistic Director Rana San to share in overseeing the strategic direction and vision of the organization.

Northwest Film Forum (NWFF) is proud to announce Izabel Acevedo as the 2022 recipient of the Lynn Shelton “Of A Certain Age” Grant. Izabel will receive an unrestricted cash award of $20,000 to support her first narrative feature film.
