Presenting the Award Winners of Cadence Video Poetry Festival 2023!
Northwest Film Forum (NWFF)’s 6th Cadence Video Poetry Festival (April 27 – May 7, 2023) has announced five award-winners from among the 50+ artist teams that were selected this year. The annual festival presents screenings, workshops, and discussions on video poetry, and remains the only festival dedicated to the genre in the Pacific Northwest. It is curated by Seattle author Chelsea Werner-Jatzke and intermedia artist Rana San.

Northwest Film Forum (NWFF) announced today that former Education Director Derek Edamura has been appointed as its new Interim Executive Director. Edamura joins the Forum’s collaborative leadership team of Managing Director Christopher Day and Artistic Director Rana San to share in overseeing the strategic direction and vision of the organization.

Northwest Film Forum (NWFF) is proud to announce Izabel Acevedo as the 2022 recipient of the Lynn Shelton “Of A Certain Age” Grant. Izabel will receive an unrestricted cash award of $20,000 to support her first narrative feature film.
