Meet CHIMAERA, our new Education & Artist Services Manager
We’re excited to welcome a new member to our team this Spring!
CHIMAERA is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist, curator, producer, community organizer and educator from Tacoma, WA. They are most excited about getting to know the NWFF community and engaging filmmakers throughout the Northwest that have been historically marginalized in the film industry as creators, curators, mentors and educators. They look forward to supporting the work of a new wave of creative visionaries with the insight to grow the potential of the local film industry.
CHIMAERA will oversee all of Jonah’s previous areas of responsibility: coordination of adult workshops, equipment access and training, work in progress screenings, and production workspaces. You can learn more about them on our staff page. They can be reached at CHIMAERA@nwfilmforum.org.
Jonah Kozlowski, the previous Education & Artist Services Manager, will be transitioning into a newly developed role at the Forum: Youth Education Manager. Summer camps and year-round youth workshops and education initiatives will be his purview going forward. Regarding his transition into the role, Jonah says “I am excited to help continue growing our youth education programs, building partnerships, and connecting young filmmakers to resources, support and new technologies as they explore and create.“
